DEMO REEL
What is an Actor Demo Reel?
An actor demo reel is a short video edited together from various scenes of an actor’s performance.

Demo reel scenes do not have to be from professional or released film projects. Oftentimes, even experienced actors will create scenes just for their demo reel to show off their skillset and performance.
REEL LENGTH
The duration of an actor’s demo reel should be no longer than 2 minutes.
Casting directors have a lot to do, and not a lot of time. If they see a large file, or long duration time stamp, they might not watch the your video at all.
REEL PURPOSE
The purpose of a demo reel is to showcase the actor’s talent to casting directors and agents.
Casting directors want to see what you look like, hear what you sound like, and determine if you fit a role.
DON'T WAIT
Ideally, an actor should create a demo reel from their previous film work.
However, it can take years for a film to even complete production for you to get the footage. Some films never even get finished.

How Long Will My Scenes Be?
Our finished, produced, edited film clips will be 30 to 60 seconds each.
For best results, your final edited demo reel should be 2 minutes or less, and be comprised of your best footage from all of your work. Although we do not edit your final demo video for you, the footage from our session would be enough for you to create a full reel for casting directors to view.
